Here is an authentic L-Slot Rocket Firing Boba Fett. It is called an "L-Slot" as the slot on it's back is in the shape of a backwards "L". It's in really nice shape. The torso has discolored slightly due to time but this characteristic is not quite uncommon with the earlier L-Slots. This Boba comes with an authentic 4 ribbed rocket.

When the Boba offer first came out in the late 70's I quickly sent in my proof of purchases to get one. It never showed up so I had my mom write a letter to Kenner saying that my Boba never arrived. About a week later, I got a Boba in the mail and although I was happy to finally have it, I was heartbroken when I read the letter that was in the box that they had removed the rocket firing feature. To my surprise, two weeks later another Boba showed up in the mail with an apology letter saying that Kenner was sorry that the other one never arrived. I ended up getting two Boba's for the price of one.

When I was a lot younger, my friend Chris and me had each heard stories that kids actually got the firing Boba so we would always go to flea markets, yard sales, toy stores, comic stores and look in the Want Ad searching for one. It wasn't until many years later that I learned that they were never released to the public.

I've always wanted one of these but could never afford one. Since 1997 I have been buying, selling, trading and networking to buy one of these Boba Fetts. Now that I finally have one, It's a bit overwhelming but worth every penny.

Here's a look at the Fett in a custom acrylic case from the front. The certificate of authenticity on the front is for the figure.
